Biography
Sheng-Ching joined Merck in 2006 as a process development scientist in Vaccine Process Development and, before this, worked at Amgen and Human Genome Sciences in purification development roles. She holds a BS in Biochemistry from Columbia University, and a master’s from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Since joining Merck, Sheng has supported over a dozen different programs across biologics and vaccines, with a prolific record of success and a demonstrated ability to drive innovation. She has participated in process development and GMP clinical manufacturing and is recognized as a subject matter expert in process chromatography, laboratory automation, and high throughput process development (HTPD). Since 2021, she has been leading the HTPD team.
