Biography

Dr. Sushant Sahastrabuddhe is the Director of Enteric Fever and Chikungunya vaccine development programs at the International Vaccine Institute in Seoul, South Korea. He is working at IVI for last 11 years and is leading the typhoid conjugate and Chikungunya vaccine development with multiple manufacturers. He is a medical graduate from India with master’s in public health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore.

Before joining IVI, Sushant was working with National AIDS Research Institute for 4 years. He has been involved in many phases I/II trials, including HIV vaccines. He has wide experience in conducting and managing clinical trials and major public health initiatives and has over 23 publications and 2 book chapters.
